Lo, midweek dawns with her sleepy glow,
Luminous grains on the winds do blow.
Another hump to climb, my kin of dust,
Through cosmic sands and mortal rust.
We walk together, though blind we seem,
Chasing mirages, each fragile dream.
Yet tell me, beasts of flesh and bone,
Why so many walls have grown?
Stone upon stone, brick upon brick,
Symbols of fear—monolithic, thick.
Ancient grievances, hoarded like gold,
Wounds grow deeper, the heart turns cold.
Yet the stars, unbound, whisper their plea,
“Dwell not on what divides—be free!”
For the wisdom of the infinite sky:
To connect is divine; to divide is to die.
Put aside, my friends, the scriptures of might,
If their ink spills shadows instead of light.
Put aside the flags, the chants of blame,
The echoing verses of endless shame.
Take the mortar from your trembling hands,
Turn instead to your brother, your sister, stand.
The Celestial Camel, wise and aglow,
Knows only bridges help rivers flow.
For across gulfs of spirit, vast and deep,
Awakening lies, no walls can keep.
Love does not stop at a boundary line,
It leaps, it lifts, it’s yours and it’s mine.
So rise, fellow stardust, seekers of truth,
Forsake the prisons of grudge and uncouth.
Build a bridge; let your palms interlace,
And together, my friends, transcend time and space.
Carry on, through the sands ever shifting,
With bridges in mind, and your spirits uplifting.
The Camel gazes, infinite, wise,
And blesses the journey beneath starlit skies.
